Priced per lb. We sort our crayfish BIG, and only offer the largest ones for sale. There are hundreds of species of crayfish, and our Minnesota crayfish, that we catch in the wild, is considered a medium to large size crayfish. Generally a bit smaller than the crayfish from Louisiana, but bigger than most other species. Our crayfish usually has medium to large size claws, which holds plenty of meat. We recommend ordering 1-3 lbs of crayfish for every dinner guest, depending on if you plan to serve other foods or not.

These crustaceans have many names, all depending on where in the world you live. Here in Minnesota we like to call them crayfish. Others call them crawfish, crawdads, or just daddies :) But one thing we don't call them is mudbugs, because our crayfish don't live in the mud. The crayfish we trap up here in the north live in deep, clear and rocky inland lakes.

During the fishing season (May-October) you can purchase our crayfish live by the pound. We offer free pick-up in Afton, MN (right off I94). We also deliver in the metro area for a fee or ship within Minnesota.
